Aritsugu layered aoshiko(blue steel) yanagi with beautiful Uzu swirl pattern made in Japan. The blade is not stainless steel and must be cared for properly to prevent staining. It should be cleaned and thoroughly dried after use to prevent staining. The handle is red sandalwood with a water buffalo horn bolster. . Note: color of bolster varies.
