Aritsugu hon kasumi ai-deba made in Japan. The carbon steel blade is not stainless steel and must be cared for properly. It should be thoroughly cleaned and dried after use to prevent staining. The handle is Japanese yew with a water buffalo horn bolster. Ai-deba are thinner than usual deba knives. Note: color of bolster may vary.
