Aritsugu western style gokinko gyuto made in Japan. Gokinko knives are a mix of carbon and stainless steels and have added chromium making the knife sharper and less susceptible to rusting.  The blade is sharpened on one side for right handed users. It is suggested that you clean and dry this knife thoroughly after use. Handle is wooden with no bolster.
