Aritsugu has a 400 year history of making fine swords and knives. This is an Aritsugu gokinko kiritsuke made in Japan. The blade is a mix of AUS-10 stainless steel and carbon steel. It has added chromium making it less susceptible to staining. The handle is wooden with a water buffalo horn bolster. This is sharpened on one side only. Note: Color of bolster may vary.
